Kona Aquatics provides competition training for age group and masters swimmers in beautiful Kailua-Kona, Hawaii (the "Big Island") at the Kona Community Aquatic Center. The Head Coach is Steve Borowski, a Level 5 coach (American Swimming Coaches Association) and Masters (USMS) world record holder. Coach Borowski has achieved great success as both coach and competition swimmer and was inducted into the Hawaii swimming Halll of Fame in 2005.
Kona Aquatics swim team participates in swim meets across the state of Hawaii and sponsors both age group and masters meets at the Kona Community Aquatic Center.
- Red Team - training for age group swimmers with intermediate skills (on the way to advanced) in the four competitive strokes. The red team practices from 3-4 p.m. Monday - Friday.
- White Team - training for age group swimmers with advanced stroke skills. The White team practices two hours per day, from 4-6 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Masters Team - The Masters swimmers train three days per week- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings starting at 6:15am.
